My most frequently asked questions (FAQ) ...

"How old are you?"
I am twelve years old. My birthday is March 15, 1996.

"Do you have any sisters and brothers?"

I come from a very large family. In fact, I am from a litter of seven. I have two brothers - Adagio and Nocturne and four sisters - Harmony, Palette, Collage and Satire. I am the youngest.

"Where were you born?"
I was born in Orlando, Florida.

"Where do you live?"
Orlando, Florida

"What is your name?"
My name is Artsy Fartsy.

"Why is your name ArtsyFartsy?"
My name is ArtsyFartsy because that is what my parents named me. Artsy means that I am artistic. And Fartsy is a derivation of the Polish word "fart" which means luck. The name has been passed down for generations from my great great great great great great grandfather who was Polish.

"Are you a boy or a girl?"
I'm a boy.

"Do you have a girlfriend?"
No, I sure don't. But I do have girls that are friends. My best friend Doodle is a girl.

Do you have kittens?
No.

"Why is the website called artsy fartsy?"
It's called ArtsyFartsy because it is named after me. ArtsyFartsy is my name and I'm your guide and spokescritter for the website.

"Are you a real person?"
I'm a cat.

"Are you really a cat?"
Yes

"What type of cat are you?"
Tabby

"Why are you a cat?"
I just am. It was what I was born as. My parents are cats. My grandparents are cats. It's just like being a girl or boy, or dog or cat. It is how you are created in this world.

"What's your favorite color?"
I like so many colors, I could never pick a favorite.

"Are you famous?"
I don't think so. But if more people visit my website, I might be soon.

"How did you become an artist?"
I was born into an artistic family so art has always been in my life. I have studied art history in school, visited museums and galleries, and read books about art. I started out when I was little coloring with crayons ( I still like to color - it's very relaxing!) I've taken classes in painting, pottery, photography, drawing and graphic arts. The most important thing is to find what type of art you like and just do it. That's what I did.

"How many toes do you have?"
I am what you call polydactyl, I have extra digits or toes. I have six toes on each of my front paws and five on each of my back paws. I only have extra toes on my front paws.

"What is your favorite food?"
Deli turkey

"Can I chat with you or other kids on this site?"
You can send e-cards, send your friends emails about the site, or send me questions, but there is no chat room on the website. And I don't have plans to add one because chat rooms are too hard to monitor 24 hours a day. This site is safe for you to visit and I don't want you to get into any trouble.
